When Mrs. Dai, mother of a child with AIDS in Taiwan, asked director Chen, "can you make a documentary about my son?" Chen agreed without any hesitation. They embarked on their journey together through a series of interviews and daily observations. Flashbacks and reflections come in with so much honesty and love, even up to the point when a secret of hers that she has kept in the closet for years is finally revealed by her son.
